Day Duos

We went down to the lake today & played on the swings...

and made a sand castle!

Day third will not be featured, as it would mainly be Dane crying as all his dreams of lovely family trips dissolve into excruciatingly painful reality.  See you soon Nanie & Poppy!!

1st Day of Uncle Dane-o's Visit

Reagan ran in to wake up Dane, Coen followed but as soon as he saw Dane is turned around and ran away.  He finally warmed up to him and they spent about an hour jumping on him & the bed.

We went to a new park and lucky for us a youth group was there having a party.  They had the huge blow up toys & free lunch, face painting, balloons, & a clown.

Reagan played on all the toys, I didn't think she would.  She even did the obstacle course one.

After dinner that night we took Dane down to the river & let the kids throw rocks in the water.  It was a great day!

One Year

Before...

It's been 1 year since we moved in.  Looks a little better huh?  We still need some landscaping rocks and to figure out exactly which flowers I want to plant but we're getting there.  I'll post pics of the inside stuff when we get the granite fixed and installed.

Family Reunion

The fam at Elk Horn Hot Springs.  It was weird being there without a foot or two of snow on the deck.  To make us more comfortable, it did snow while we were there.  Lori quickly proposed that we go sledding.  I vetoed the idea, although it's probably just the same experience in June as it is in November.

I heard this weird tapping noise & couldn't figure out what it was.  When I found it, it was Coen wearing Reagan's flower shoes.  He really needs man toys huh?  Or an older brother.

Cookies for the firemen

Reagan has really taken an interest in the fire truck house we pass on our way to church.  She has also taken an interest in the horses  & donkeys.  She says she's going to feed them prunes & yogurt.  I convinced her that the firemen would appreciate cookies more than the horses would appreciate yogurt.  So we made cookies today and hopefully we'll be able to take them to the firemen this afternoon.
